On September 15th, eight volunteers from TowneBank and Town Insurance helped paint the OBX Room in the Inn Intake Center. The office was long overdue for a paint job. The volunteer painters made the center transition into a warm and welcoming atmosphere, changing the cold, institutional tan color into cool, blue and green. From the prepwork, to painting, to cleaning up, these Michelangelo's worked hard all morning and through much of the afternoon doing an amazing service for RITI.
Also, a huge thanks to Karen Gardner from Home Depot for supplying all of the material needs. They donated all the best painting supplies we needed and more. We were equipped with the highest quality paint brushes/rollers, cleaning supplies, Behr paint, buckets, and prep materials. We could not have done this without them and are grateful for the amazing relationships we have with local businesses.
