Intake Coordinator — Part-Time, Seasonal

The Intake Coordinator is a part-time, seasonal position from November 1 through April 30, 2027. This position is responsible for welcoming and processing incoming guests while ensuring all required intake procedures are completed accurately, professionally, and confidentially.

Responsibilities include completing intake paperwork and required documentation, conducting background checks, administering drug and alcohol screenings, reviewing shelter policies and expectations with guests, and maintaining accurate and confidential guest records.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, organized, and comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness and other challenging circumstances. Candidates must be able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, follow established procedures, communicate effectively, and treat every guest with dignity and respect.

Overnight Chaperone — Part-Time, Seasonal

The Overnight Chaperone is a part-time, seasonal position from November 1 through April 30, 2027, working 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. This is a sleeping position after 11:00 p.m., provided that shelter needs and guest situations allow.

The Overnight Chaperone is responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful presence for shelter guests throughout the evening and overnight hours. Responsibilities include serving dinner, assisting guests with evening routines, ensuring shelter rules and expectations are followed, and helping maintain a calm and respectful environment where all guests can rest safely.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, patient, and comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness and other challenging circumstances. Chaperones must be able to maintain appropriate boundaries, address concerns or rule violations when necessary, respond appropriately to situations that may arise overnight, and treat every guest with dignity and respect.
